Macau casino workers to wear mask until March

A directive requiring all casino workers in Macau to wear a face mask has been extended until March 22 to protect from Covid-19.

The six-month extension was published in the Official Bulletin. The obligatory mask requirement was put into place on Jan. 22.

Macau has been clear of new infections for three months. Travel restrictions with Mainland China have been gradually eased throughout August and from Sept. 23 visitors are permitted from all of China.
