Macau gaming wages rise 6.5 percent

 
Average monthly wages for full-time Macau gaming sector staff rose 6.5 percent to 18,900 patacas ($2,412) in June from a year earlier, according to the Macau Statistics and Census Service. The agency counted 54,554 full-time staff, up 2,820 from last year, with the fastest growth seen among directors and managers. Reported vacancies fell 12.6 percent to 1,591, while employee departures declined 28.4 percent and new recruitment dropped 40.3 percent.
