Macau GDP boosted by gaming and tourism services growth

Macau gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 7.6 percent year-on-year in the first half of 2018, driven by increased exports of gaming and tourism services.
Total exports grew by 20.3 percent year-on-year in 18H1.
Gaming, which falls under “exports of gaming services” grew by 15.1 percent year-on-year. While, tourism services saw similar growth, rising 16.3 percent year-on-year.
The results brought total exports of services up 14.5 percent for the first half of the year.
