Macau hotel occupancy rate tops 80% in Golden Week

Macau's hotel occupancy during the May Golden Week holiday reached 83 percent, better than tourism authorities expected. The Golden Week performance, from May 1 to May 5, was 34.6 percentage points better than the Spring Festival holiday. The highest occupancy rate was in three-star hotels, which was at 86.6 percent.
