Macau Legend said it expects to post a loss in the six months to end June, compared with a profit the year earlier, as gains from the sale of a unit won’t be repeated.
The group had a profit of HK$2.85 billion ($364.2 million) in the first half of 2018 after making a gain of about $3.01 billion from the disposal of New Macau Landmark Management.
Macau Legend operates the Fisherman’s Wharf complex in Macau as well as the Savan Vegas in Laos. The company is also developing a resort in Cape Verde.
The company said it is still in the process of finalizing its results for the period, which are expected to be published in late August.
