Macau ranks within the top 10 cities for traveler spend: World Travel and Tourism Council

The World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) has ranked Macau in 4^th place amongst the top 10 cities where travelers spent the most money in 2022.

Macau came in after Dubai, Doha and London.
According to the rankings, travelers spent some $15.58 billion during the year in Macau, significantly ahead of Singapore – which came in 8^th, with a visitor spend of $10.97 billion.
Frontrunner Dubai saw some $29.42 billion in visitor spend during the year, far ahead of second and third-place Doha ($16.79 billion) and London ($16.07 billion).
Amsterdam came in after Macau, with $13.59 billion in visitor spend, followed by Istanbul ($13.13 billion), Barcelona ($12.73 billion), New York ($12.45 billion), Singapore ($10/97 billion) and Paris ($9.67 billion).
