Malta iGaming Seminar to host awards for iGaming employees

The 8th edition of the Malta iGaming Seminar has announced it will hold one of the industry’s first awards dedicated to recognizing Maltese igaming employees.

The Malta iGaming Seminar will take place at the Grand Masters Suite, Hilton Malta between the November 7-9. 2016.

“We are delighted to host the 8th edition of the Malta iGaming Seminar, a seminar which started as a local event aimed at educating foreign investors to relocate to Malta and now has become an international event where delegates and speakers converge to discuss, network and debate regulatory gaming policy, latest trends and technology of the global gaming industry,” said Jeffrey Buttigieg, director of MIGS and the COO of RE/MAX Malta.

MIGS16 will be spread over a three-day programme covering topics from regulatory and taxation to eSports, virtual currencies and blockchain, player retention and many more. Several renowned experts have already been confirmed their participation and the organisers will very shortly be announcing the participation of yet another high level keynote speaker soon.

The event will also host the region’s first awards gala dinner to promote employees working in the Maltese iGaming community.

The awards event will be the first of its kind in the iGaming Industry and are aimed at recognising individuals and is open to males and females in every sector of an iGaming operation.

It will be supported by Videoslots.com as a lead sponsor together with the Malta Gaming Authority, NetEnt and others to be announced shortly.

The event will take place on November 8, the first night of MIGS and will be held in the Grand Masters Suite, Hilton Malta.

The Malta iGaming Seminar (MIGS) was the first iGaming seminar ever to be held in Malta in 2009. Last year the event attracted over 450 delegates with over 300 individuals travelling from Europe, Middle East, Asia, South Africa and the Americas.

The seminar attracts C-Level delegates and creates a discussion forum for top management and owners of iGaming operations, service providers, and Government entities. These debates help to further enhance their knowledge of the ever changing online gambling landscape.
