Man arrested for fatal stabbings of two Vietnamese tourists

A 31-year old man has been arrested in connection to the murder of two Vietnamese tourists at the Circus Circus hotel in Las Vegas, local media reports.

The man, identified as Julius Trotter, was arrested last Thursday.

Las Vegas Police Lt. Ray Spencer told reporters that the motive appeared to be burglary.

Spencer said the suspect was seen on surveillance video heading up the hotel elevator just after 4am on Friday, and was seen leaving the elevator at 4:45am with a backpack believed to belong to one of the victims.

Police said that Trotter was taken into custody in the Los Angeles area following a car chase.
