Man knifed in Macau's Kam Pek casino

A man from mainland China attacked another mainlander with a butcher’s knife in a dispute over money at the Kam Pek Paradise Casino in Macau, according to the Public Security Police.

The 49-year old attacker claimed he was attempting to recover debt from the man, 36, who ignored his request, The Macau Daily Times reported.

The man then purchased a butcher’s knife in a nearby supermarket and returned to the casino to attack the man, adding that he was not checked by security before re-entering the casino.

Two PSP officers standing guard outside the casino saw attacker running out and seized him.

The victim received three wounds and was taken to the hospital and is now in a stable condition.
