Manila Bay complex taking shape

 

Belle Corp and Melco Crown Entertainment finalized their joint venture to operate the planned $1 billion Belle Grande Manila Bay casino hotel. The casino is to open next year in a complex with three other casino hotels. One of them, the $1.2 billion Solaire Manila casino, is to open this weekend. Solaire's investors include local company Bloomberry Resorts, controlled by Enrique Razon. Global Gaming Asset Management, which  includes several former Las Vegas Sands executives, has invested in Bloomberry and will run the casino. Its first phase includes 300 tables and 1,200 slot machines.
