Melco Resorts & Entertainment said 2,400 staff and family members were vaccinated during a joint drive with the Macau Health Bureau.

The session took part between June 18-20 at Studio City Event Center as part of the company's "Get the Jab" campaign.

“With colleague immunity now established as a key Company objective to ensure a safe environment for colleagues, guests and the community, we are thrilled to see colleagues’ positive response to the Get the Jab campaign," said Akiko Takahashi, executive vice president and chief of staff to Melco Chairman and CEO. "We will continue to host more health seminars to promote the benefits of vaccination and to answer colleagues’ queries so that informed choices best suited to each individual’s needs can be made, whilst supporting to the government’s efforts towards achieving herd immunity.”

Outreach vaccination session attendee, Tippy Wong said, “After joining one of the health seminars hosted earlier by the company, I felt well informed about the vaccine’s benefits and decided to sign up to the outreach vaccination session. It feels great to finally receive the first dose of the vaccine at my place of work – it’s so convenient. I’m glad I took this step forward to protect myself and my family. I hope more and more of us will, like myself, get vaccinated so that life can go back to normal as soon as possible.”
