Melco to reopen Nuwa on March 31st

Melco Resorts & Entertainment said its revamped NÜWA at City of Dreams hotel is set to reopen on March 31.

Known as the first hotel in Macau to earn Forbes 5 stars ratings for each of its facilities from Hotel to restaurants and Spa, NÜWA will be unveiling its newly refurbished guestrooms, suites, villas and an inviting lobby. The interiors feature a sophisticated blend of classic and contemporary luxury that showcases the most refined Asia's traditional aesthetics with a whole-new perspective.

Inspired by the eponymous heroine of Chinese mythology, NÜWA is an homage to the rich cultural heritage of Asia. The journey at NÜWA starts from the lobby where hotel guests will be greeted with a harmonious setting layered with Asian undertones and motifs, such as embroidered and hand-painted silk wall covering depicting an oriental garden, or woven metallic screens draping the soaring seven-meter high ceiling.

The lobby also features a large-scale bronze sculpture created especially for the hotel by Chinese contemporary artist Wang Keping. Entitled “The Couple”, it offers an interpretation of the classic images of the NÜWA mythology.

The all-new hotel offers around 290 luxurious guest rooms. Accentuated with touches of oriental elegance and Asian-inspired elements, all rooms have been magnificently transformed. Each room has taken luxury comfort to a new level, with the most refined fabrics, state of the art in-room technology, and unobstructed floor-to-ceiling stunning views of Cotai Strip and Taipa.

Aside from spectacular rooms, discerning guests are invited to the award-winning NÜWA Spa to reconnect the mind and body through specially designed treatments. A range of pampering wet spa facilities and salon services are also available.

A Cantonese culinary masterpiece, the three Michelin-starred and Black Pearl three-diamond restaurant Jade Dragon showcases the best of Cantonese specialties. Jade Dragon’s menu offers the best quality fresh ingredients from around the world. The restaurant’s spectacular designer décor also provides an elegant backdrop for an exceptional dining experience.

Lan, an intimate jewel-like lobby bar, is a perfect retreat to enjoy a new collection of expertly crafted cocktails as well as the finest Japanese whiskeys and gins. Located on Level 25, the Crystal Club offers breakfast for hotel guests who will be surrounded by panoramic views of Taipa and the wetland ecological zone.

NÜWA at City of Dreams offers the ultimate in opulence and innovation for those seeking refinement and attention-to-detail in every aspect of their stay.
