The National Capital Region Metro Manila will remain under Alert Level 3 until the end of January amid the rise in Covid-19 cases, the Philippines Task Force announced.
Casinos will be permitted to operate in limited capacity to registered-vaccinated punters. Non gaming amenities will likewise be limited to 40% indoor and 60% indoor capacity.
The Metro Manila Council (MMC) earlier decided to retain the Alert Level 3 status for NCR, citing enough restrictions in place and only a slight increase in the region’s healthcare utilization rate (HCUR) despite the increasing number of Covid-19 infections.
The healthcare utilization rate in Metro Manila has not hit 71% which would trigger an alert level escalation to level 4.
