More than 300 MGM China team members attended a seminar on the Development of Chinese Traditions and Culture” on Thursday, which was designed to study the roots and values of Chinese traditions and how that shapes modern-day thinking and business decisions.
Prof. Mao Feng from the Beijing Normal University, an expert on the study of Chinese culture and communication, was the speaker for the seminar. Guests included prominent figures from the Economic Affairs Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government, the gaming regulator and the company’s CEO, Grant Bowie, among others.
“Every country develops along its own distinctive path. With a history of over 5,000 years, China created its splendid and profound culture that is the most significant strengths and component of the soft power of the country,” the professor said.
