Mohegan promotes key US executives

Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment has announced the promotion of two executives in North America as its holdings continue to expand and diversify.

Ray Pineault has been appointed to the newly-created post of Regional President, with overall responsibility for three properties: the flagship Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, Mohegan Sun Pocono in Pennsylvania, and Paragon Casino Resort in Louisiana. Pineault was previously the president and general manager of Mohegan Sun.

The second promotion is that of Jeff Hamilton, who has been promoted to the president and general manager of Mohegan Sun position that Pineault is leaving.

Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment also recently announced that it has teamed up with South Korean conglomerate Hanwha Corporation to build its Project Inspire resort, the $1.6 billion integrated resort the firm is developing in Incheon, South Korea, planned to begin opening in 2022.
