Daily Asia Gaming eBrief: More hotel rooms to reign in price fluctuations in Macau

Good Morning. The days of extreme hotel price fluctuations in Macau are over. Andy Wu, president of the Macau Tourism Industry Association told AGB, that with the city’s hotel room inventory having experienced a double-digit increase since 2019, adding more than 7,000 rooms and 20 hotels in the past four years, the room supply now allows for better control of price fluctuations. At the same time, overall economic circumstances have led to more rational consumption trends by mainland visitors.
