MP urges chief minister for action on foreign workers in Goa’s casinos

Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco, Member of the Legislative Assembly for Curtorim, is demanding that the home department carry out an enquiry to see how many foreign workers are employed in Goa’s casinos, saying “they pose a risk to the security of the state,” the local press reported. He added that personal details provided by casino operators need to be verified as some workers have expired visas.
