Hong Kong-listed NagaCorp said its chief operating officer Mark Anthony Brown has resigned to pursue other opportunities.
The company said there had been no disagreement with Brown, who had fulfilled his obligations with the operator of the NagaWorld resort in Cambodia.
“The company has accepted his resignation for the reason that Mr. Brown has fulfilled satisfactorily the job assignments under his employment contract with NagaWorld and
has laid the foundation of a VIP market in Macau and China, which will allow the present management team of the company to build on, through business development and marketing initiatives in Macau and China,” it said in a Hong Kong Stock Exchange filing.
Brown will be replaced by Lien Trung Phat, MD Business Development (Macau and China) and Mr. Mike Ngai, MD Business Development (South East Asia).
Lien is an expert in casino marketing, including VIP gaming promotion, junket relations and player development. He has worked in Vietnam, Korea, United States of America, Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Macau and China, over a career of some 25 years that has included spells with Trump Resorts, The Venetian Macau and Resorts World Sentosa.
