Nazara Technologies goes on start-up buying spree

Mumbai-based gaming company Nazara Technologies is continuing its real-money gaming expansion, after finalizing a number of acquisitions of Indian gaming startups, local media reports.

According to Nazara’s filings to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, the company has invested in online sports content website Sportskeeda, which runs Absolute Sports and Sports Unity, and has also increased its stake in HalaPlay, a real money gaming app. 

In the past, Nazara has acquired NODWIN Gaming, DJuzz and MyGamma and has invested in startups such as MasterMind Sports, BakBuck, Truly Social, InstaSportz, and Moong Labs.
