Nepali government employees in gambling raid

 

Police in Liwang raided a gambling den and arrested eight government officials while patrolling the area at midnight.

Local media reports say the eight men were later released “on condition of not to indulge such kind of activities in the future.” The men were officials from the District Development Committee, District Postal Office, District Forest Office, Janata Bank Limited and VDC secretaries, but no names have been released.
