Nevada regulator, IOC team up to prevent cheating at Olympics


The Nevada Gaming Control Board has signed an agreement with the International Olympic Committee to help detect cheating and illegal gambling at the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia. The board and the IOC agreed to cooperate at all levels in order to preserve and protect the integrity of sports, they said in a joint statement. To the extent allowed by law, both sides agree to the exchange of information in the area of sports betting and integrity of sports competitions, as well as by a constructive and creative collaboration in terms of an amicable cooperation, thereby helping to achieve the goal of preserving and protecting the integrity of sports and sports competition.
