New eco casino resort approved in Vietnam

A new casino eco-tourism project has been approved by authorities in the southern Vietnamese province of Kien Giang. The eco-resort is to be located in Phu Quoc Island District.
Covering an area of 30,000 square meters the property will include 2,000 slot machines and 200 to 400 gaming tables. Foreign investors bidding for the project are being asked to prove their financial capacity and pledge at least $4 billion. The duration of the casino operating license will be 30 years.
