NMi attends Canadian Gaming Summit for fourth year

Testing and auditing firm NMi will be attending the Canadian Gaming Summit 2016 this June.

Despite unprecedented demand for certification services in Europe, on the back of being the first approved lab in Romania, NMi said they are maintaining their focus on Canada as a key growth market.

Following on from a successful iGaming Supershow and Gaming in Holland last week, representatives from NMi are attending the Summit from June 13-15 at the Ottawa Convention Centre, Canada.

Andrew Rosewarne, NMI director of gaming said: "We're happy to be able to once again attend this important event that brings together representatives from all of the gaming sectors supporting Chuck Nervick at MediaEdge and Bill Rutsey, president and CEO of the Canadian Gaming Association. Since starting work with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) and Loto-Québec in 2013 NMi has seen Canada grow as a viable market for suppliers to the provincial lotteries, and with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) moving to the acceptance of testing from independent labs this year demand has never been stronger. With knowledgeable regulators providing clear requirements to developers and labs, for us, the Canadian provinces are business as usual destinations and we invite our customers to ask about how we leverage past testing into Canadian approvals".

Ali Heydary, operations manager said: "NMi's commitment to the Canadian market is illustrated by the growth of the team in Vancouver, working closer than ever with regulators and operators alike, serving this huge market with the same quality of service that we have delivered out of Europe for over 4 decades. Having doubled in size in 2015 we cover all testing disciplines in a time zone convenient to Canada, the US and South America".
