Oddspedia launches Japanese version

Oddspedia.com, a sports portal, has recently launched a version exclusive to the Japanese market - Oddspedia.com/ja.

This new version of the site is entirely in Japanese, but it’s also so much more than a simple translation job. All of the information displayed has been specifically personalized for the Japanese market, including prioritizing sports that are popular in the country, displaying betting odds from Japanese betting sites and bookmakers and covering news regarding Japanese leagues and athletes.

Despite being the Japanese branch of an international company, the site has been carefully constructed and curated specifically so that it would provide native Japanese sports fans and bettors alike with a complete and useful treasure trove of information that’s just as good as one built within the country.

Originally starting as an odds comparison website, Oddspedia recently relaunched as Oddspedia 2.0, which overhauled the experience completely so that the information could be useful even to sports fans who aren’t interested in betting.

Japanese gamblers can still find in Oddspedia the biggest database of Odds for both the local and international markets, allowing them to maximize their winnings by placing bets on the sites which offer the best odds for a particular sports match. The numerous betting tools, like surebets, dropping odds and value bets, can further help punters place the right bet instead of just relying on their intuition.

Japan is a country that is famous for combining tradition with new technology and innovation, and so Oddspedia hopes that its new tools for betting on classic sports like horse racing will be accepted by Japanese players.

But on top of that, Oddspedia.com/ja also aims to become the biggest sports community in Japan by offering thousands of pages of information on Japanese teams, players, leagues, tournaments, matches and events throughout the modern history of the nation. Sports fans, even those who aren’t interested in betting, can see detailed statistics on their favourite players and teams, as well as information on upcoming games and events worth following. This is complemented by a steady stream of news drawn aggregated from top Japanese sports news sources, giving fans the opportunity to follow the world of sports easily, with all the important information in one place.

Multiple new features, some of which exclusive to the Japanese market, have been planned for the future of Oddspedia.com/ja. The team behind the website sees Japan as a very important sports market, and as such continuing to improve the experience for Japanese fans and punters will continue to be a priority in the months and years to come.
