A three-person investigation team is to submit its report into allegations that Universal Entertainment Corp. paid bribes to advance its Manila Bay Resorts casino project in Entertainment City by the end of this month, according to Justice Secretary Leila de Lima. De Lima initially gave the team 30 days to report in November last year, but granted extensions "because they had difficulties in getting access to prospective witnesses both here and in Japan", she said, adding that she had declined to give any more time. The team is led by Senior Assistant State Prosecutor Rosalina Aquino and includes Marlon Tauli of the National Bureau of Investigation’s anti-graft division, and Catherine Camposano, executive officer of the bureau's internal audit unit.
