Okada Manila Oct. GGR $51.3m

Okada Manila reported gross gambling revenue of PHP2.7 billion ($51.3 million) in October, a new high for the property, according to a filing from parent, Universal Entertainment.

The report showed adjusted segment EBITDA of PHP371 million at the resort, which opened in December 2016 in the capital’s Entertainment City district.

“The adjusted segment EBITDA of October reached an all-time high,” the note said. “Excluding the result of May 2018 which was driven by one time temporary spike due to junket grand opening events, the gross gaming revenue of October also reached an all-time high.”

The Okada Manila facility maintained a hotel occupancy rate of 97.7 percent in October, according to the statement.

Universal Entertainment last month pledged to improve disclosure of information.
