Nagasaki authorities have announced that it has narrowed the field of bidders for a license down to three, choosing Casinos Austria, Oshidori Group and NIKI Chau Fwu.
Commenting on the choice of bidders, Nagasaki Governor Hodo Nakamura said that each group had been assessed for their concepts, as well as operational track records and financial capacity.
There were five original bidders for the license.
“The three finalists will now be asked to provide a much more detailed proposal and we plan to select our operator partner this summer.”
“It is also important to thank all of the five applicants for their interest and devotion to the development of an IR in Nagasaki. We are grateful for the time and effort they all have put into their initial proposals," he said.
