Packer revisits Sri Lanka, meets ministers

 
James Packer, chairman of Crown Ltd, met with Sri Lankan cabinet ministers to discuss possible investments in the country in his second visit in two months. Lakshman Yapa Abeywardene, minister of investment promotion, said the government had suggested a large city hotel in Colombo and a possible investment in the eastern city of Trincomalee but the company was still considering its plans. Opposition leaders have criticized government moves to rush through tax incentives for casino investment.
