The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (Pagcor) has issued a tender for the development, management and operation of an intermediation platform for its POGO licenses, according to a document released from the gaming regulator.
“In carrying out the project, PAGCOR requires the engagement of the services of an experienced and qualified consultant that possesses the requisite knowledge, expertise and background, specifically in the field of the development, operation and management of any audit program/intermediary platform to guarantee the successful execution of the project,” said Pagcor in its bidding document.
The winning bidder will be required to develop the intermediation platform or audit program suitable for Pagcor’s needs in accordance to the requirements for POGO, and will be required to operate, maintain and manage the system for a period of ten years.
Pagcor says it intends to apply the sum of P6 billion (US$121.1 million) per year for ten years for the development and maintenance of the system, which is scheduled to commence by 2017.
The consultant will be paid 10 percent of net revenue earned by Pagcor from POGO every quarter from the commencement date of the project.
Interested parties are required to submit their eligibility documents on or before June 20, 2017.
It is understood that there has been interest from Malta and Isle of Man for the contract.
