Paradise Oct. GGR gains 15.4%


Paradise Co. said gross gambling revenue rose 15.4 percent in October from the same period a year earlier, led by strong growth in gaming machines.

In total, GGR was KRW80.9 billion ($69.6 million), up from KRW70.11 billion a year earlier. The figure was 11 percent higher than the amount registered for September. 

Revenue from table games was up 14.6 percent in the month to KRW 76.9 billion, while gaming machine revenue was up 34.3 percent to  KRW3.9 billion.

For the first ten months of the year, the South Korean company has seen a 22.3 percent gain in GGR to KRW648 billion, with table games up 23.3 percent and gaming machine revenue up 7.4 percent.

Paradise gives no commentary in the monthly figures it releases to the Korean Stock Exchange. The figures come from the Walker Hill, Busan and Jeju Grand casinos, as well as its Incheon Paradise City resort.
