Philippine player exclusion figures down in 2Q23

The Philippines Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), the nation’s gaming regulator and operator saw a slight drop in player exclusion figures during the second quarter of the  year, totaling 95 individuals.

Amongst the total, 37 were self-declared – as opposed to 48 the previous quarter.
The number of family-related exclusions increased slightly, to 55 from 52 in 1Q23, while those prompted by the licensees increased from zero to three quarter-to-quarter.
The number of expired exclusions amounted to 40 during the quarter, down from 116 in 1Q23.
In aggregate, over the past 20 years some 2,725 exclusions were recorded, with 807 players currently on the player exclusion list. In total, 1,918 of the exclusions have since expired. Some 43 player exclusions were requested by licensees, 1,031 were self-requested and 1,651 were due to family appeals.
