Police arrest 12 in raid of Kathmandu gambling den

Police have raided a gambling den in a suburb of Kathmandu, arresting 12 people including its operator, according to local media reports. According to police, Goma Devi Pokharel, 38, was operating the gambling parlour from her rented room. Police confiscated 10,252 rupees ($103), playing cards and dice.
