Thai police have arrested six South Koreans in the latest raid on illegal online gambling operations involving Korean nationals, the Bangkok Post reported.

According to assistant police chief Prawut Tavornsiri, police arrested the men at an apartment block on Ratchadaphisek Road as they were allegedly receiving bets on overseas football matches. Police seized 10 mobile phones, seven computers, bank books and various other electronic devices.

In a separate arrest, another group of three South Koreans were arrested at JJ Mansion on Sukhumvit Soi 11, also for taking bets on overseas sports.

Police seized eight computers, 10 mobile phones, seven computer displays and overseas bank books.

From late May to early June, police had arrested ten South Koreans in the Huai Khwang and Sukhumvit areas on the same charges.
