Police commission probing online betting scheme involving two officers


The Police Integrity Commission is hearing the case of two New South Wales police officers who allegedly used the personal details of other officers and the help of professional gambles to run an online gambling scheme.  

Counsel assisting the commission Peter Hamill SC said Senior Constable Marc James Smith and Detective Senior Constable Anthony Paul Williams recruited their fellow officers to use their personal information to open online betting accounts.
