Primorye postpones casino land auction date

The Primorsky Krai Development Corporation has extended the deadline for receiving applications for the auction of land meant for casino development in Primorye.

According to the corporation, the need to postpone the auction was based on the request of investment companies that had showed interest in the land.

“Since the announcement of the taking orders, we’ve a received number of applications from Russia, China, Korea and several European countries' companies… However, upon the heads of investment companies, we decided to postpone the date of the auction, in order to have more time to prepare the documents,” said the corporation, adding that the additional time will allow it to attract new investors.

The application deadline for the auction is now set at September 28, 2017 at 10:00am. The auction itself will be held on September 29, 2017 at 2:00pm (GMT +10).
