Putin submits draft law for Crimea gaming zone

Russian President Vladimir Putin has submitted a draft law to the country’s parliament to create a fifth gambling zone in the newly annexed Crimea. A 2007 Russian law banned gambling in Russia anywhere other than four specially created zones. According to the bill adding Crimea as a gambling zone will not require any additional money from the federal budget and Crimea’s new government will be given the say over location and size of the casino zone.
