Queensland opens up bidding for casino licenses


Queensland’s state government has officially begun the process to solicit interest in bidding for three casino licenses. Acting State Development Minister Ian Walker said has said the government has so far received eight registrations to receive Expression of Interest documents. Companies have until Feb. 28 to register interest and receive documents. The three licenses include one at the Queen’s Wharf development in Brisbane and two elsewhere in Queensland.
