Rexlot to pay final dividend of HK0.80 cent per share


REXLot Holdings. a lottery company operating in China, announced that the board recommended the payment of a final dividend of HK0.80 cent ($0.10) per share for year ended 31 December 2014. 

The final dividend will be payable in scrip form with a cash alternative, the company said.

Under the scrip scheme, shareholders qualifying for the final dividend have the choice to receive an allotment of scrip shares credited as fully paid and having an aggregate discounted market value equal to the total amount of final dividend shareholders could elect to receive in cash in respect of 0.80 HK cent per share; or in cash of 0.80 HK cent per share; or both

“The Scrip Dividend Scheme will give the Shareholders an opportunity to increase their investment in the Company at market value without incurring brokerage fees, stamp duty and related dealing costs,” the company said.

“The Scrip Dividend Scheme will also benefit the Company to the extent that such cash which would otherwise have been paid to Shareholders who elect to receive the Scrip Shares, in whole or in part in lieu of a cash dividend, will be retained for use as working capital by the Company.”
