Russia restricts problem gamblers' rights

Russian Legislators passed legislation that will allow the government to restrict the rights of those suffering from gambling addiction. Should a Russian gambler be found to be incompetent, relatives may seek guardianship and, subsequently, control over personal finances under a new legal amendment signed by President Vladimir last week. The same policy applies to other addictions such as alcohol and drug abuse.
