Sands China hired more than 600 new employees during its three-day recruitment fair for its new Parisian Macao development, according to a press release.
The Macau casino operator said “thousands of Macao residents” turned up at the fair, between Mar. 21 - 23. “Sands China is very pleased at the turnout for our first large-scale recruitment fair for The Parisian Macao,” said Antonio Ramirez, senior vice president of human resources for Sands China Ltd. “We wanted Macao’s local talent to have first priority for our new positions, and the thousands of locals who came were shown the diversity of career paths available with The Parisian Macao and Sands China.”
Vacancies from over 40 departments were offered, with more than 95 percent of the vacancies in non-gaming positions, says the operator.
The Parisian Macao, a 3,000 suite integrated resort on Cotai, is scheduled to open in the second half of 2016.
