September gaming revenues up 21 percent

Official figures released by the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau show that Macau's September gross gaming revenue increased by 21 percent from the same month last year to a total of MOP28.96 billion (US$3.62 billion).  This was despite a super typhoon that hit southern China in early September.  Total gaming revenue to date this year is tracking 16.7 percent higher than for the same period last year.
