Side betting in Macau VIP rooms 6X reported figures: SVA

Side betting in Macau's VIP rooms is probably six times higher than the figures that are being reported and represents money that is not being taxed by the government, security expert Steve Vickers said in an interview with RTHK.

This money is being bet in these VIP rooms, not with the agreement of the casinos, but “they are kind of aware.” He described the side betting as a “massive issue.”
