Silver Heritage said Richard Barker, a non-executive director, has resigned in the latest of a series of changes at the top of the Australia-listed operator.
Barker stepped down to focus on other business interests, the group said in a stock exchange filing. His resignation is effective immediately and he will not seek re-election at an upcoming shareholder meeting on May 25.
The board “thanks Mr Barker for his input and efforts during his tenure as a director,” the company said.
Silver Heritage owns and manages casinos in Vietnam and Nepal, including the Tiger Palace Bhairahawa, the Himalayan country’s first IR.
The company has seen a few major changes in its board recently, including the departure of David Green as chairman earlier this month. Tim Shepherd, co-founder and president of business development and marketing left the group in August last year.
