SJM COO Ng Chi Sing steps down

Following its annual board meeting on Tuesday, SJM Holdings has announced the resignation of Ng Chi Sing as chief operating officer and executive director, effective June 9, 2020. 

According to a filing to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Mr. Ng will be redesignated as non-executive director of the company from June 10, 2020. 

He had held the role as executive director of SJM since 2009, and was chief operating officer of Sociedade de Jogos de Macau (SJMSA) since 2002. 

The filing did not mention any recruitment efforts for the chief operating officer role. 

At the same time, SJM chairman and executive director Daisy Ho has been appointed as an authorised representative of the company.

The news comes only two weeks after the passing of SJM Holdings founder Stanley Ho.
