SJM considering all possibilities for Japan IR license

SJM assistant chief operating officer Arnaldo Ho told media that the company would be considering “all kinds of possibilities” in order to win an integrated resort license in Japan, Macau Business reports.

“We think that getting an integrated resort in Japan is a very great opportunity so we are looking to all kinds of possibilities for now. And we have been to different regions […] so we are looking to be involved in everything for now,” he said during the sidelines of a ceremony.

Ho said the company would be considering different case studies for different markets, ranging from regional markets to metropolitan markets.

There will be a maximum of three integrated resort licenses up for tender.
