SJM Holdings says Casino Oceanus is closed for disinfection

SJM Holdings said Casino Oceanus has been temporarily closed for disinfection, although the gaming areas in the Jai Alai building and Hotel Jai Alai are operating as per normal.
Casino Oceanus was one of the venues in Macau recently visited by the city's 72nd Covid case.
"SJM stands firmly with the government and all Macau residents in efforts to control the spread of the coronavirus and to strive for a speedy recovery of the community," the operator said in a press release.
The Macau government announced on Tuesday that most entertainment venues would be closed from midnight on Wednesday to help stop the spread of Covid. Casinos will remain open.
