SJM's Grand Lisboa Palace in final stages of licensing approvals

SJM Holdings' Grand Lisboa Palace on Cotai is going through the final phases of the licensing process, Macau Government Tourism Office Director Maria Helena Senna de Fernandes said.

She told local media she was unsure of how long the process would take.

SJM has indicated it wants to open the resort in the first half of this year. It's currently the only one of Macau's six operators without a property on Cotai and this is seen as a reason why the former monopoly has been losing market share.
