SkyCity Darwin

In July 2004, SKYCITY acquired ownership of the Darwin Casino and Hotel from MGM Grand and rebranded the property SKYCITY Darwin. The Darwin casino licence currently runs until June 2031.Extensions to the licence for additional 5-year periods, every five years from 2016, are subject to the Northern Territory Government’s approval. There is no legislative ceiling on the number of gaming tables and gaming machines the SKYCITY Darwin casino may operate. SKYCITY Darwin currently operates 36 gaming tables and 630 gaming machines.
