SkyCity director Peter Cullinane to retire

SkyCity announced that long serving SkyCity director Peter Cullinane will retire at the company’s annual general meeting in November.

Cullinane, who joined the SkyCity board in 2008, is chairman of the board’s Corporate Social Responsibility Committee and has championed the company’s increasing focus on CSR, the company said.

In accepting his resignation, chairman Chris Moller thanked Cullinane for his contribution to SkyCity.

“Peter has a first-class intellect and a strategic and creative mind. He has contributed hugely to the governance of SKYCITY and I am very sorry to see him go.’’

Cullinane said he enjoyed his role on the SkyCity board but after seven years he felt it was a good time to step aside.

“The rapid growth of his New Zealand artisan dairy business was also taking up more of his time,” the announcement reads.
