South Korea’s Paradise Co. gaming revenue down 6.2 percent m-o-m in November

South Korean foreigner-only casino operator Paradise Co. reported a 6.2 percent decline in casino gaming revenue on a month-on-month basis in November, amounting to KRW56.58 billion ($43.3 million). 

However, on a year-on-year basis, the company’s gaming revenue for November 2023 saw an increase of 43.8 percent. Table gaming showed a decline, while machine gaming revenue rose on a month-on-month basis. 
According to the company’s latest update, table gaming revenues fell by 7.8 percent monthly, dropping from KRW56.5 billion ($43.24 million) to KRW52.1. billion ($39.87 million). This figure represented a 46.1 percent increase from same period of 2022. 
Gaming revenue generated from slots increased by 17.7 percent monthly, from KRW3.8 billion ($2.9 million) to KRW4.48 billion ($3.43 million). The figure was a 21.6 percent increase from November of the previous year.
The table drop amount was nearly flat monthly in November, at KRW545.52 billion ($417.56 million), while rising by 48.6 percent on a yearly basis. 
For the first 11 months of the year, the group generated KRW681.37 billion ($521.54 million) in casino revenue, up 125 percent yearly. Table games revenue was up 132.5 percent, to KRW638.38 billion ($488.74 million), while machine revenue was up 52.2 percent, to KRW42.99 billion ($32.9 million).
Table drop during the 11 months was up 131.6 percent yearly, to KRW5.59 trillion ($4.28 billion). 
Paradise Co. operates foreigner-only casinos, including Walker-Hill, Jeju, Incheon Paradise City, and Busan Casino.
